Yes, it’s that sweaty mushroom again. I still want to know what’s going on with this guy.


So many rings of different colors.
And now for our mystery thing, which is possibly a fungus or possibly a lichen, and which has hairs that make it appear as though it is about to bite you, like a Venus flytrap. Anyone recognize this?

Update: iNaturalist has IDed the “mystery thing” as a sac fungus in the genus Scutellinia. Pretty cool!
